Dear All
This is an open invitation for all NQIs (CI, OWI, AI and NI) based in the London Region to attend a meeting on 18th September, from 10.00 to 16.00.
I am awaiting confirmation on the venue, but it will be central(ish) London.
The purpose of the meeting is to develop an action plan for the London region for the next 3 years. This plan will cover all areas of regional activity include SDCs, branch support (including for AD training) and Instructor development support. If anyone would like to suggest any other specific topics then please do so.
The meeting will consist of some presentations to bring everyone up to speed, but then we will break into smaller workshop groups each charged with delivering the plan for a specific area of activity. We hope several NIs will attend to help us out and we'll split them into the workshop groups to keep everyone on track...!
As most of us in the London region will be aware, the region hasn't really been meeting the needs of its divers or branches. We hope to start to turn that situation around, but we can only do it with your help, both as ideas and to deliver them. Currently the region is staffed by a small, enthusiastic but totally overworked team. We need assistance at all levels, and no volunteers will be turned down! In return you get to work with some really great people and develop your own skills.

If you've ever moaned about needing more support from the London regional team, now is your chance to do something about it. Please come along and give us your ideas, enthusiasm and support!
