We're currently planning our honeymoon to Costa Rica in November this year and are both keen, experienced divers. As such we'd like to do a few days diving whilst we're out there - we thought that doing a couple of days on the Caribbean coast and a couple of days on the Pacific coast would be good - but the first dive operator that we emailed said that November is the worst month for diving and resorts on both coasts are closed. However, this doesn't tally with the research that we have done online about diving at that time of year so we were wondering if anyone can offer any advice.
We're thinking of trying to dive around Cano Island as we'd like to get down to the Osa Peninsular while we're there and visit Corcovado and so it fits well in terms of location. Has anyone dived here in mid-November that can provide advice on if there would be diving available and what the diving would be like at that time of year? Also has anyone managed to go diving in the Manzanillo region on the Caribbean coast at that time of year or not and, if so, what was it like?
