The club I am involved with are planning a trip to Nemo 33 this Spring but we have one problem.
Because we are a military affiliated BSAC club our rules insist that we have a copy of the "certificate of air purity" from any diving site facility before we use them. However, we have made many attempts to contact the organization via email and fax to request such a certificate but have not heard anything back from them.
Has anybody had any experience of making successful contact with Nemo 33 or does anybody have any contacts that we could use to get hold of a current certificate.
Without it we can't go. I know we could try phoning them, but I was leaving that as the final solution.

Last time we went, they replied via email to a couple of queries, but I
remember it did take a couple before they got the jist of what I wanted.

A pretty comprehensive list of contacts is here
http://www.nemo33.com/en/home-cours-plongee/contact

All the gear is provided by Aqualung and is pretty new, the water is spring
fed so very clear and no t-shirts allowed only rash type vests cause the
colours run.

Didnt honestly bother about the air, such an operation would be way to slick
not to come upto code, but i'm sure you wouldnt be the first to ask.

DaveJnr,

thought a phone call would have been an obvious starting point, followed up by e-mail and fax.

What used to be military 'adventurous training' is obviously much more strictly controlled nowadays it seems . I suppose you may have some sort of financial support from military funds to support this venture otherwise I would suggest going under your own steam.

Have a great trip and would love to go there for a visit myself one day. :p

Thanks for that insightful information Peter, but actually when a company has a "contact us" page with a list of email addresses on it, most of us would expect a prompt reply when you ask them a question via email.
I had hoped that by using a forum I could ask a simple question and get some useful information back in reply.

They have a different way of life, some would say more civilised than ours, and in my experience are vastly more polite than us. They seem to say -

Reception : ( 365 days per year )

Tel : +32 2 332 33 34
General Fax : +32 2 333 38 39
Main E-mail : dive (at) nemo33.com
Information : Monday to Friday : from 10h to 18h
Information : WE & holidays : from 11h to 18h

So, accepting first that they use CET and probably speak French, Dutch and German more than English, I'd submit that a politely phrased telephone enquiry has a very much better chance of success. Best of luck,

Hi, we had a group out at nemo a couple of weekends ago and once again had a good time, it's a lot more crowded this time of year than our last trip in the summer, but when you think about water at 35mtrs. being 36degrees it's no wonder. I contacted Nemo by E Mail and had a prompt reply and also contacted them by phone on an unrelated matter , again pleasant english speaker on other end. Due to the way they operate best time to call would be about 10 / 20 minutes past the hour. but check operating times as they may not operate certain hours during the week -- private hire / film shoots and military stuff happenung.
