All,

We have decided to sell our RIB - have you any recommendations for how to go about this? Brokerage? Web? Magazine(s)? Where to get valuations?

Basically we are selling the whole kit, ready to go and are after a fairly quick sale.

Many thanks in advance for the advice.

Do you have any info on the RIB? We've been looking at upgrading one of our old boats...

Don't want to get your hopes up but i'd like to know the specs and what sort of money your looking for...?

Thanks,

Justin (Chester SAC)

Hi There,

Do you have any info on the RIB? We've been looking at upgrading one of our old boats...

Its a BWM Deep Sea 18 (BWM info = http://www.ribs.ws/) with a Jonsson 150hp VRO V6 engine with hydraulic steering on the back. Comes complete with single console, bottle rack, A frame, Echo, GPS, DSC radio, and all the other gubbins we've collected over the years (ropes, shots, buoys, anchor, 1st aid kit, tools, flares etc). I haven't got a full inventory at the moment, but if your interested I'll pass it on when it gets done. Trailer is a Snipe, that is about to have a bit of a spruce-up.

General condition - The boat is about 10 years old, so is not shiney and new, but is a perfectly good boat. Engine likewise. Trailer is a bit tattle, hence the pre-sale spruce up.

Don't want to get your hopes up but i'd like to know the specs and what sort of money your looking for...?

Money is a bit more difficult as a decision has not been reached on what we want for it. I would expect that c.?3-4K, but thats only my opinion, it could be less, doubt it'd be more.

If you are interested please feel free to mail me - paul@dive50.freeserve.co.uk. The boat is currently in Littlehampton, and can be viewed if you like.

Cheers

Paul
