Look for ANDP... advanced nitrox and deco procedures, this has superseded the AN but there never seems to be many courses running for it.

There may well be one in the South west sometime around Easter, contact Totnes BSAC about it.

SW region are running an ADP course over the w/e of 16-17 April - see http://southwest.bsac.org/SDCPOE.asp for details - only 1 name on the list so far, so need some more to make it viable (seems to be a common problem with regional courses this year)

It says £130 for the full course but what if only the theory upgrade is needed for someone who already had the advanced Nitrox were offered at a more enticing price, would this help bolster numbers?

I imagine there are a lot of people out there just waiting for the chance to upgrade.

I was previosuly under the understanding that Advanced Nitrox had been dropped in favour of the new ADP course, but we were clearly advised at yesterday's BSAC Diving Conference that Advanced Nitrox can still be run, it's just that BSAC will not be "supporting" in it future (i.e. they won't be updating the SDC materials).

Better that it withers on the vine than people are pushed where they've no wish to go.
