Hi

Does anyone one have a Log sheet layout that includes rebreather information? That I can beg, borrow or just steal ideas from.

Many Thanks

Paul

Ours does not include RB stuff but does allow for two gases so could be adapted, you are welcome to plagiarise. Go to the site and select Downloads (bottom item on the left hand menu)

There is nothing in the BSAC rebreather FAQ under Marshalling that implies you need more but there might be something elsewhere. Aside from the usual gas mix/in/out the only question I'd ask is scrubber duration. Certainly with the Inspiration there is a depth limit when the scrubber is getting well used. Perhaps a column for a bail out gas as below a certain depth getting an OC buddy out on the onboard gas would be a problem. I suppose it all depends who you are trying to protect.

Dil(with mix) & O2 in/out, Scrubber duration left (start of dive & finish).

I'm just being lazy & seeing if anyone else has put one together. Will have to get off my backside & do it myself I 'spose!

BTW the Rebreather SDP's has the following:

'The DM must know the following information about the rebreather divers:

Dive plan (i.e. depth/time and direction)

Max PO2 setting and planned MOD

Diluent gas (if other than air) and implications on dive profile

For dives involving decompression stops, the divers planned decompression schedule and technique

The divers back-up plan in case of an emergency, including the implications of an open circuit bail-out

Surface detection aids carried

Maximum possible endurance (determined by scrubber duration/ gas consumption etc)
W
here appropriate, an emergency signalling plan in case of assistance (gas or other) being required (ie; yellow & red DSMBs on surface together).'

I'll be buggered if I'm going to try & fit that lot on a slate.

BTW I'm the DO (Boo/Hiss)& an Inspiration diver (spawn of the devil).

Cheers

er yeah

there's only the three of us and the scr boy

can we not just use the notes field else the marshal sheet is going to be ridiculas

alot of that really should be known for OC divers aswell in all fairness
