Torbay BSAC 50th Anniversary

Yes, as branch 0008, we are celebrating our Golden Anniversary this year. In a way, we're glad it has worked out like this, as we didn't want to up-stage HQ's efforts :-)

Over the years, we have lost touch with some of our former buddies, and are keen to make this last ditch effort to contact them in time for our Dinner, which will be held on Friday 7th May.

Congratulations on making it to your Golden anniversary.

We too are enjoying our 50th year of diving - in Hong Kong. We celebrated the anniversary of our official recognition as a diving club on 4th May 1954 on the top floor of a well known bank in Hong Kong last week. We held a combined BSAC clubs in Hong Kong dive last Sunday and were joined by 45 members and friends from the other BSAC dive clubs in Hong Kong.

Now we are all looking forward to our Anniversary Ball in September. More details about our Club and celebrations are available on our website - www.hkuc.org.hk.
