Having moved into mid-cheshire area , I am looking for a diving club that actually goes diving and involves all members in branch comittee meetings and not the elite few.

does such a club exist ???

I have met an SAA club that has organised dives every week but I would like to hear from any BSAC Branches preferable as I am Bsac trained

Depends on where in Cheshire. I used to be a member of Warrington and we dived most weekends. They meet at Sankey Leisure centre on a Tuesday 9:00pm. HTH

You might want to take a look at Merseyside Sub Aqua Club. They are based in Wallasey on the Wirral, have their own clubhouse, boats, compressor and an active dive programme throughout the year. They meet on a Thursday night at 1 Riverview Road, Wallasey from 7.45 onwards. Their pool is just across the road at Guinea Gap baths and I know they welcome divers from all codes.
