A number of agencies now offer rebreather training, ranging from the traditional technical agencies to the recreational ones like Padi and Ssi. When are BSAC going to get their act together and offer rebreather training, not just a rebreather experience that has no use in the market place ??
If the national executive feels rebreathers are too complex a course to teach then I suggest they revies the SDC's they currently allow and think about the wisdome of allowing somwe one todrive a rib an high speeds and play with a compressor that is a potential bomb.

Thank you

Your ignorance is showing.

I have just read several of your posts, I had to amend one of them for breaking one of the principles of this forum.

1. Tone it down
2. Do your research
3. Think before you post

I would be interested in having a look - where can I get more info - I'm already SCR trained.

It was announced at the DOC courses are running from about now. Your best bet would be to contact your regional co-ordinator, see link

Rob

The BSAC is running pilot courses for Inspiration CCR and Draeger Dolphin SCR, 19 - 26 February 2004.

The course material is almost completed and is currently being edited. The plan is for a soft launch at LIDS with a full roll out in April.

Hope that aswers your question.
