Dear Members
There seems to have been a mass mailing from somebody called ?Ken Neal? using an anonymous yahoo email address, the email starts ?Dear BSAC Member? and requests details of your club, contacts, email addresses of people etc. etc.
I would like to make it clear that this email is nothing to do with the BSAC to the best of my knowledge, the email addresses used seem to have been harvested from various web sites and have not been supplied by the BSAC.
I have replied to Mr Neal myself requesting further information and details of things such as his DPA registration, this will probably be required before he can legitimately hold and process the information he has requested.
My advice at present is to =NOT= respond to this email, treat it as SPAM or some kind of commercial directory scam until proved otherwise. I have invited Mr Neal to respond to me personally or to the BSAC forum for an explanation of why he is targeting our clubs with emails in this manner.
Kind Regards
