Hi
My own opinion on this series of recent heated threads is that if BSAC were to change the SDP to a diving limit of 1.4 and deco of 1.6 ppo2 this would solve the majority of problems and this is accepted practice in TDI, IANTD, SAA, GUE and probably most other agencies.
I believe that the trimix quals ARE recognised from this statement. http://www.bsac.org/techserv/trq.htm
As far as I know BSAC make no recommendation with regard to helium content.
Are there any other issues with the SDP that I am unaware of or is it really just this simple? I am asking to help and not to hinder the BSAC vs its members debate which IMHO is strangling the club (well, this forum anyway)
Andy
Please be constructive. Flaming is really boring. And this has nothing to do with insurance either, its about DIVING. Could KL remove any insurance posts please ;o)
