View Full Version : Proposal for DOC discussion time

A few of us have had an initial email discussion regarding the points being discussed in this forum over the past week or so. As some posters have not been aware of this, I am making it wider knowledge.

I suspect many of us are entitled to go to the DOC in November. This is probably the best place to get this out in the open with all concerned. We should ask for at least 30 minutes of the open forum to discuss these issues. They are important enough for this amount of time. Now if one of us asks for this, it may not get far, but if several of us do so, then we have a chance.

I propose that anyone wishing to support this idea replies to this post, listing full name, member no, grade, instructor grade and any post occupied at present, Branch Name and No, and MOST importantly if you intend going to the DOC. I suggest this range of info so we can indicate the scope of concern.

I may not be able to participate in any discussion re this over the next couple of weeks, depends on available internet facilities. I will try.

edit - I was writing this as Keith was writing his post. I agree with what he say, and any time we may get at the DOC should be used for suggestions of solutions to our perceived problems.

Hi Adrian,

Just to make it easier and a little clearer for everyone concerned, can you please tabulate the points that you wish to be discussed.

Thanks.......Allan

Allan

The post was started just to see how many wanted to take this further and discuss in open forum at the DOC. The specific points to be raised will have to be distilled from the last two weeks or so's discussions.

When I return from hols in 2 weeks or so, I will get on with more detail. However, I think it safe to say that you should be able to estimate the general drift of our concerns.

Adrian
