Snorkel sites near Newquay Harbour?

Hi everyone

I am thinking about booking a trip with Atlantic Divers to try and see some basking sharks in the spring/summer. I would want to spend a few days down there, so are there any good snorkelling sites within a reasonable walking distance of Newquay Harbour? I am not that experienced, so easy-ish dives would be good :)

I used to live in Newquay, I did alot of diving off the old lifeboat slip just around from Newquay harbour, would also be an ideal snorkelling spot. Depending on the sea you have sometimes time your exits/ entry
