View Full Version : FCD Prep - London or South Coast?
Hello,
I'm planning to do my First Class and was looking for some First Class Prep sessions in the London/Southern region.
I couldn't find any, so I thought I'd ask here if anyone knows of one?
Or alternatively organise one myself if there are people out there who might be interested?

Hi Olle,
Sorry that nobody has got in touch with you. Sadly I can't help, as my south is in Spain! Have you contacted the Southern Area Coach? Or, have you a mate you can study/dive with? When I did my FC, I had a good buddy for both reading and learning all the theory (we both passed the exam easily first time) and we used to go off diving and planning/doing tasks together. It was really good to have this common aim and be able to bounce things off each other (thanks Andy P!!). Sadly though, he was unsuccessful on his practical.
Find out as many tasks etc as you can and practise, practise, PRACTISE!
Good luck!

just checking, is that south coast Australia?? if so, count me in :D
On a side, been wondering about this for a while about if we ramp up the FCD online training / assistance with each other!??!
for instance, i've got a DROPBOX directory, where ive been storing my various bits of info gained and training notes etc,, got a couple of gig of information now, which im always happy to share with others also doing their FCD, and likewise in reverse i'd hope to glean from them ;-)

Ummmm, what's a 'drop box'?
How can it be accessed?

https://www.dropbox.com/
its essentially, a free file sharing folder, kept online, which all parties registered to a folder have access to.
Think of it like an "online" network.

BUMP
Neil, you have a pm.
Hi Neil,
That sounds like a great idea, I'll pm you my dropbox details.
Pegcjs - I'm in a similar position. I've been making some enquiries here in London and just about getting started. Would you be interested in a trip to a convenient coast/quarry or London if I could get an NI to help us out with an event of some kind?
