Very definitely take your own IV kits, syringes etc.. My old firm used to do a lot of business out that way and whenever any of us went over there we were issued with a first aid kit containing every sharp imaginable. It only takes a bad cut for you to need stitches.

....customs get very twitchy when anything deemed 'medical equipment' is brought into the kingdom!

Sheesh! Never thought of that. Those Thai guys don't mess about either, a bit like Saudi. They make UK Customs look like pussy cats.

Hi John,
Apart from the obvious metioned above you can buy a good first aid kit from any pharmacy or tesco when you arrive for very little money, you can also buy IV sets.
