This report also appeared in YD, so apologies to those who've already seen it.

Managed a very quick shore dive here yesterday; it's an unusual site in that it's a shore dive where you can hit 50m a short distance from stepping into the water, just a few yards from where you park your car. It's one of those sites where experience is needed; it's very tidal, running at up to 7 knots at peak flow, slack water lasts all of a minute but there's a 30 minute dive window to play with .

Water is still quite cold fore the time of year (13-14 degrees C - normally 4 or 5 degrees warmer by now) and the vis was unusually poor 7 or 8m. This site is great for macro photography, the photos were taken on a small wall, at 22m-29m just 50m to the SW of the carpark.
