Check out FishEyeProject.com The vessel is called Mata Ikan. She isn't luxurious but is very stable and the crew are good. Nitrox, trimix and rebreathers are catered for if requested. I have been on her twice now and have no complaints.

Cheers

Why not contact Jack Ingle - he runs liveaboard trips to the South China Seas every year (one day when I get the money...). As far as I recall, they dive the Repulse, Prince Of Wales and others...

Indeed, he's just sent me an invite (to pay of course)... ;-)

This is the gist of it (dated 27th January 2005:

Dear all,
We are now taking bookings for the September 2005 South China Seas trip to dives the wrecks and other sites in this area. The cost of the package is ?850 and that includes full liveaboard, cylinder hire, air and Nitrox fills.

The main wrecks we dive are HMS Repulse and HMS Prince of Wales but there are many other sites dived whilst out there.

I have attached details of this expedition on a word document to give you more details of the types of dives we are planning. Please do not get the impression they are all exceptionally deep dives, the Repulse is 35 metres to 50 metres and the water temperature is 30 degrees centigrade with excellent visibility.

If you are interested in joining us please contact me as soon as possible, the trip is starting to fill up already (week 1 is full).

It sounds like a good deal to me.
Not that I'm any expert ;-)

Hopefully it doesn't contravene any forum rules posting it here.
Maybe Jack will give me a free trip for posting it to the forum....

You could try Vidar Skoglie on MV Empress.
I've been out with him a few times and he is very twin/RB friendly. Nice hydro lift on the boat and pure O2 surface supplied to the deco bar (as long as you are shallower than 4m of course!).

He regularly runs trips to the 50m+ wrecks and often has single spaces if you e-mail him.

Sadly I can't remember his e-mail but I'm sure you can find it on the web.

Hmmmm...
Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

Wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

Each to his own - I reckon you have to go a very long way indeed to find a better operation. The boat has excellent food, side-scan, a fully functional recompression chamber, a crew that is willing to steam all night so you can dive all day but above all it has Vidar who is one of the most amazing characters you are ever likely to meet.

I fully agree with Tony. I have been out with Vidar and his crew throughout Indonesia since 2000, for three weeks every year, and I cannot imagine anyone more caring competent and easy going - or serious - when needed. A barge pole can be used for many things, e.g. sticking it up some place.
