Picked up a good backup torch from Amazon, works well so far, with no flooding. Not bright enough as a main torch but small enough to keep permanently in my BCD pocket so I am never without if I find an interesting hole.

What type of diving? The Aquastar 3w led is a good back up torch, and ok for general use in the UK or abroad.

cheap budget, you cannot go past these:

http://www.simplyscuba.com/products/LEDCO/LenserFrogman7456InGiftBox.aspx
http://www.simplyscuba.com/products/UnderwaterKinetics/SL4eLED.aspx

IF you've got a bit more money then, having owned a photon, and a Rat light, i'd go for:

http://www.mb-sub.com/x1-vb/?L=2
as i like being able to focus and unfocus the beam... damn powerful for its size...

HOWEVER, if you have a BIT more money, i'd consider:

Great for night diving or cave diving

http://www.cathxocean.com/products/eu_product/euphos_umbilical
great for wreck or ocean diving...
