Hi,
Does anyone know anything about the ins and outs of the regulations with regard to diving cylinders for use in Switzerland.
Apparently they have adopted the CE standard, but the shop I went to get a fill wouldn't fill my tanks with the BS test, but also seemed to think that the people that test the tanks for them would refuse to test a tank that wasn't manufactured and stamped on manufacture with the CE number. So they said that I would not be able to get my tanks tested fo ruse in Switzerland. It's a bit of a gutter, as I have 6 seemingly useles tanks, and the prices of new tanks here seem silly. Does anyone have any experience of Swiss regulations?

Cheers
Dave

hi dave
I also moved to switzerland
and one of my mates had the same problem
he was also not able to fill his tanks at the shop
he got around this by joinong a club that lets him fill up himself.but he cant go on club dives, with his own cylinders
you know the swiss and their rules.
anyway Ive done about 10 dives in lakes and they are basically boring, with nothing to see.
I only did them to help improve my skills.
better you save your money and dive in italy or france.
cheers
tom
