Club RIB or hardboat?
Either way I would suggest central south coast, a good variety of wrecks and scenic sites, plenty of places to stay and eat. Anywhere between Southampton and Weymouth. Weymouth boats will do anything from Eastern Lyme Bay (Sidon,M2,Pommeranain etc) to Aeolian Skye in the east, all 35m and under.

For good wrecks and plenty of night life Plymouth is a good one

Hi Tucker
As good as you'll find, is Seahouses and the nearby Farne Islands off Northumberland and not very far away is St Abbs
Fabulaous diving, plenty of good lively pubs and lovely food. Everything there for a great diving holiday. If the weather turns bad, you can also drive up to Oban, where there' plenty of sheltered dives and smashing viz.
Cheers Ron

Forgot to mention, there are plenty of diving charter boats operating from Seahouses, plus lots of trip boats around the Farne Islands for non divers. The area is also steeped in history, with many castles and ancient churches, including Lindisfarne/Holy Island just a half hours drive north.
Cheers Ron

Oh the great North/South divide, spoilt for choice on these sceptered islands and thats just the beer. Have a look at the BSAC Travel Club.
How about Whitby/Scarbrough for good charter boats good wrecks(Rohilla/U-Boats) good digs, the best fish & chips and cheap Sam Smiths Beer.
Can recommend the MV DUNDARG which can fill all of your needs based in OBAN, with all that offers.
Now bovvy is shut try Mountbatten(Eddeystone/James Egan/Scylla) always get in down there whatever the weather. Mind you its not the same now Union Street is no more.
Keep on BRITISH divin'

wow, there's so much choice....you haven't given any indication of where you normally dive?....all the places already mentioned are great.
You can get a week's package to dive Scapa Flow, not much nightlife there though, just pubs...can't say I know anyone who goes clubbing whilst on a dive trip!!
Guess "good accomm" rules out liveaboards?
HTH - don't hang about, many charters will already be booked up.

You don't say where you are coming from?
Are you coming over by plane or driving.
I think you have gathered there are loads of places to dive in the UK and everywhere you will find wrecks.
It might be worth trading off evening entertainment for better diving. If you realy want wrecks and can leave out entertainment then the only place is Scapa Flow. It's a Mecca for wreck diving, a Must Do on any wreck divers list.
Post back some more information and you'll get more feedback, I'm sure.
Include when you are thinking of coming over, as time of year is important especialy re weather and water temperature.
We can also advise you if the date you suggest is on a Bank Holiday, in which case travelling around the UK is a nighmare of traffic jams.
Finaly I have the 2006 tide tables and can let you know the best dates for the best tides, as they are important as well.
What experience does your group have and do you use dry suits.
Good luck

Wow, the answer is almost limitless.... Off the top of my head and in no particular order and knowing nothing of your qualification level-
Northern Ireland
Scapa Flow, Orkneys
Weymouth & Portland
Oban
Pembrokeshire
Porthkerris
Plymouth
Brixham
Brighton
Farnes
Scilies
This is the UK- we do Wrecks, nightlife and B&B's like no where on Earth!!! :-)
