I have places to dive the SS Carmen a big Panamanian freighter which sank following a collision on June 13 1963. She is sitting upright on the seabed in 45m, the decks are at 40m and the superstructure is still intact although the very top has been swept. The bridge is easy to penetrate and she rises up to 30m.

Slack water is at 1430 so i am looking at ropes off in Dover Marina at 1230.

This wreck is in the shipping lanes off Dover and we get MCA clearance to dive her. She is not dived on a great deal because of this location.

Divers wishing to go must have the relevant qualification and experience to meet the above dive conditions.

Dive safe
