Malta or the red sea?????????

Yeah, hope not to sound too jammy, but i can either go to malta and get a bunch of good dives in that while i've done before, i'd happy do again, maybe with some new ones in....

or

The red sea on a liveaboard, doing 'the usual suspects'...what ever they are, which i've never done.

Cant decide, suggestions? (i'm leaning to the red sea as i've never done it before though:confused: )

If cost is no problem then it has to be the liveaboard.

I'm off to Malta in just under 3 weeks but thats because I did a liveaboard in March, it's now the better half's turn for a holiday.:D

Having said that I do enjoy floating round the Rozi and Um el Faroud even though I have been going to Malta each year since '93' (at least twice a year and sometimes 3 times). I have made some good friends and also like the people there.

Well! Have a shufti here and you will see a variety of Red Sea liveaboards and a trip to Malta. I loved Malta but have to say Red Sea liveboards are my delight:

Both places offer some superb diving. For me the deciding factor would be the fact that I detest shore diving with an absolute passion and I much prefer taking my bed to sea.

Red sea for me John.

Malta is fantastic, however the red sea on a liveaboard is great as well as you have not done the liveabord yet. Thistlegorm will blow your mind, fantastic wreck.

Pay a bit extra for nitrox and bulk buy immodium ( well the boots generic cheaper version).

I'm thinking of Malta in December :)
