Hi all,

I'm looking to do the BSAC Combined Nitrox SDC, but can't find details of any on the BSAC website.

The website does not seem to have the syllabus for the Combined Nitrox on any of the sub pages (link follows): BSAC Skill Development Courses (http://www.bsac.com/page.asp?section=600&sectionTitle=Skill+Development+Courses+%28SDCs%29)

Safety and Rescue SDCs
Technical SDCs
Seamanship SDCs
Special Interest SDCs
Club diving SDCs

Or the ability to select at the bottom of the page here to find courses (link follows): BSAC SDC Events (http://www.bsac.com/page.asp?section=1671&sectionTitle=SDC+Events)

I'd also like to look at the syllabus if possible. I am missing something here?

If anyone can assist I'd be grateful. I live in Essex, so SE England based courses would be good.

Thanks

Stuart

Look here (http://www.bsac.com/page.asp?section=1552&sectionTitle=Club+diving+SDCs)

The pdf's to the right give the course syllabi

You should note that the Advanced Decompression Procedures will probably replace the Advanced Nitrox in most cases. There is little benefit in completeing the ANx SDC if you already have a Nitrox qualifcation. The only complication is that you need to complete the bouyancy course & achieve Gold prior to attendance on the ADP SDC.

Hi Stuart,

Advanced Nitrox has been replaced by Accelerated Decompression Procedures (ADP). Contact your Regional team to see what they have planned. If you have no luck with contacting them please pm me.

Dave

Any instructor can do the two nitrox workshops in branch which gives you a basic nitrox ticket pretty much for free

Cheers Pete (and Dave via PM)

In-branch sounds like the way to go.

Thanks all.
