Can anyone tell me what the temperature and viz is like at Capernwray at the moment. Are the fish still active?

Thanks

Temperature: 8/9degrees, getting colder
Viz: depends on the weather - if its been raining then vid deteriorates
Viz: depends on the number of divers (esp. trainees) kicking up the bottom
Fish: yes still active

Ditto for Stoney, except you see crayfish at the present - esp on night dives

think nick still dives with a warm computer, was there last week and it was only 4 deg, and yes it was cold!!! fish life was ok! always worth taking in a sandwich for the fish. enjoy.

Just got back, it was about 7 degrees, and particularly good viz for most of the two dives. The fish were very active and at one point we were the only pair of divers in the water. well worth the trip. thanks for the info.

Hi Ian... Hows things?

Admittedly, surface temperature was a lot lower, but both computers gave a higher "max depth temp" reading. Alternatively, the temp was 6degrees and I had the computers upside down??? :-)
