Not sure what part of the uk your after, but north wales is in great detail in Chris Holdens excellent book "underwater guide to north wales" many shore dive in that.

Thanks Nick,sorry should have been more specific,bur North Wales is great and south coast from Poole to The Lizard mainly.

The "Diver Guide" series includes Dorset, South Devon and South Cornwall in one volume each. All have a range of dives whether shore or boat dives.
