Could anyone out there give me any information on diving around Blackpool / Liverpool Bay (open water not sheltered) as I'm trying to find some new sites for our club to explore. . . prefferably NOT MORE THAN 30m . .

Have you got the book 'Wrecks of Liverpool Bay' by Chris Michael? Assuming you're in a RIB it's a long trip to get to 30m deep anyhow. And I never found anything that tempted me too much as a second dive closer in.

The last dive I did was the City of Brussels, about 18 nm from New Brighton, and I gather we got lucky to find much in the way of vis - about 5m - this was mid December!

These days I'd rather put in the extra road miles and go somehere more appealing.
