Port Ellen diving didn't go under. It just became more lucrative to take punters out seal watching. and the low cast of flights to the red Sea meant they moved onto other things - I was offered the business.

I'll ask my wife tonight if there where the compressor is

Hi Ben,

I've spoken to Ann who used to run the dive centre.

There are no commercial air stations on Islay, as far as she knows.
