What type of wreck is this please ?

My parents found this wreck in their loft, any helpful suggestions on where I could find information on boats of this type to use as a guide for it's salvage would be most welcome.

Hey John,

If memory serves, this is a fine example of an 'Airfix Class' tramp steamer, circa 1938; my guess is she used to do either the Southampton to New York or the Liverpool to Cape Town runs. And by the looks, she's already had her props salvaged ;-)
