Can anyone prove any links to decent dive operators who do the above areas or any of the Western Isles, not including Skye, already have details of a great operator their.

Am planning a w/end there for next year.

Your input is appreciated.

When in Tobermory we use Siver Swift. Skipper Paul Gallagher is very good indeed and the boat is a superb fast dayboat. We stay B&B in Tobermory so we can partake of the Mishnish (Pub). Paul will pick up and drop off in Oban if required.

Hi Michael,
Here's a couple of links for you to try:

Michael,

For the westt coast of scotland, I often use Lochaline Boat Charters. They are probably the best priced operator on the west coast, and with their two sturdy hard boats, both with on board compressors, they offer an outstanding service, which invariably includes 3 dives a day and fishing in between (not found another operator who has us catch our lunch, and cooks it for use yet - it is especially pleasant).

They are based in Lochaline, but are willing to travel. I have chartered them from Oban, Lochaline, Tobermory and Mallaig in the past. I know they will do Skye, and will run from North Skye (where they can organise good self catering accomodation) across to the Uists/Harris/St Kilda as day trips from skye. Again, they do this at an extremely competitive price!!

I know other groups have charted them for as far north as Ullapool aswell.

www.lochalineboatcharter.co.uk - I think???

Cheers
Martin

Just returned from 3 days in SoM with Mark and Hjalmar Borge (Northern Light Charters). Great boat, great skipper and the food is the best around. He runs Kilda trips throughout the year as far as I know usually as 5-7 day charters.

Contact details are on the website above.
