Saw this one on a mailing list - thought I'd share it...

"It may be the oddest tale to emerge from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Armed dolphins, trained by the US military to shoot terrorists and pinpoint spies underwater, may be missing in the Gulf of Mexico..."

Having clicked on the related link and read - This Dolphin story has to be the best one yet.

A fellow dive buddy just e-mailed me the following, which is only a small collection of U.S. military warnings and labels:-
Only "Titan" knows - what labels the marines have stuck on these Dolphins!

real US army warnings

----------------------------------------------------

Warnings issued by the U.S. military to their own troops:

"Aim towards the enemy."
Instruction printed on US Rocket Launcher.

"When the pin is pulled, Mr Grenade is not our friend."
US Marine Corps.

"Cluster ****ing from B-52s is very, very accurate. The ****s are guaranteed to always hit the ground."
USAF Ammo Troop.

"If the enemy is in range, so are you."
Infantry Journal.

"A slipping gear could let your M203 grenade launcher fire when you least expect it. That would make you quite unpopular in what is left of your unit."
Army's magazine of preventive maintenance.
