Advice on Kenya

I am going to be at the Baobab hotel next March for a week and whilst there I would like to get some diving in but more than the standard 20m coral reef circuit.
A live aboard is not possible as the other half will kill me if I head off for a few days, though I think I can get away with going on a couple of day boats.

Any advice greatly received!

Not sure exacly where you are staying, but I stayed in Diani a few years ago and went with Diani Marine- the wildlife was great, lovely sea snakes, huge turtles and some other scary critters and there is a good wreck there called the Alpha Fungo (I think that's the name- a cargo ship split down the middle). I loved it there but the diving is a bit pricey i think.
