View Full Version : Mod contact to speak to about a potentially contentious survey post/external link?
I want to post a link to a survey which may be thought of as slight contentious in BSAC circles (not hog-looping!). This survey will be going to as much of the dive media as I can find; forums, facebook, twitter, local clubs, hard-copy press etc. BSAC HQ are aware of the survey but haven't spoken to me directly about it.
Can someone send me a list of the MODs, so that I can ping them a PM with what I am planning on posting to make sure they are content?
Thanks

Hi Gareth,
You should be able to make contact via the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page. I'm not sure what happens from then on as I am no longer involved in day-to-day forum support.
IMO, I would hope BSAC would not block a link to a dive related site, even if it did not support it. John Bantin has links to Diver, so I don't see why a survey should fare any differently.
Not that I've seen it yet. ;)

Contentious is not a problem providing it meets the AUP.
PM me details and I will put it in the moderators forum so we can have a look

Naaah. It's Friday. We can normally get into a ruck over any trivial thing on a Friday.
Fortunately the Mods here can usually get away with a formal post calling everybody's attention to the AUP and we all skulk off.
Very few posters need drawing and quartering on the BSAC forums. (Except, of course, the ones we never see again )
