Take a look at our new BSAC Travel Club Bookshop in partnership with Amazon. We have trawled through the thousands of books in their stock to find the most relevant to dive travel and referenced those titles from the Country/Location pages in Where to Dive. We have also set up all the titles linked so far in a specialist bookshop.
Like all things on the Travel Club website - it is in a state of growth - keep checking back for new titles and sections.
The benefits of buying from Amazon are that you get a great discounted price, excellent fast postal delivery (free if you spend ?19), on line reviews etc all without leaving your desk! The benefit to TC is that we can offer an almost unlimited selection of books without worrying about stocking costs and we also earn a small commission on each sale which goes back into the BSAC.

So, have a look, buy yourself a discounted book and do the Club a favour at the same time - we will be adding many more UK dive books and general dive travel titles soon ie books that fit within the category but are not directly related to a single country or area. You can also search for titles on your own using a search box.

The BSAC Shop will continue to supply some guides themselves - the Underwater World dive guides to British locations and other miscellaneous guides - hopefully it is very clear who is supplying what!

Thank you Allie,
I was just going trough the diving books at Amazon when coming acros a strange item called:
Title: Advanced Sport Diving (BSAC MANUAL)
ISBN: 0091853125
Publisher: Ebury Press
160 Pages (December 31, 2006)

There is a remark that it not yet published, but that you can order it.

Any idea what that is about?

Thanks

Khaled

I don't know - interesting spot! Can only assume that it is an advance notice of a new version of this manual from Ebury, the publishers. You can buy BSAC manuals from Amazon - have seen them before although the Member's price direct from BSAC is generally advantageous.

No doubt all will be revealed soon!

If it BSAC is not intending to re-print/Print a new Advanced Diver Book could you please remove the following:

Q. Why is Advanced Sport diving still out of stock?
A. Advanced Sport Diving is out of print due to major changes in Scuba Diving in the last 10 Years and is being re-written to incorporate these changes.

From the Mailshops FAQ's as I have been waiting for it to come out as I am doing my Advanced Diver at the moment.

Cheers
Andy
