Hi I dived with these guys last year. I thought they were great. Good guides, great boats, new kit and friendly service.
Really enjoyed the diving there too. You have a choice of morning boat or day boat. The morning boat takes you out to 2 different dive sites. if you are diving for 5 days you will reapeat a couple of sites.
The day boat takes you to 3 sites. You have the choice of diving any 2 or paying extra to do all three but you do visit sites further out that the morning boat doesn't go to. Downside is the morning boat gets you back by the pool for 2.00pm...

Hi,
Sorry to say but they are the only option in Taba Heights as the nearest alternative is quite some way from the resort and would not be cost affective.
I did not use them whilst staying at the Intercontinental which is the nearest Hotel to the dive centre as I had promised the wife I would not dive, as it was our Ruby wedding.
Most people who snorkel use the small walk along pier which is towards the Hyatt hotel which is the next one along from the Sofitel.
The one good thing about the resort is it is very quiet and you can go for long walks around the golf course towards the shopping mall (quite small) or there is a shuttle bus if your feeling really tired.:D
If you are into sightseeing I would highly recommend the trip to Petra in Jordan, it is a long day but the experience is something you will always remember. I would also recommend the trip to St Catharine’s Monastery.
Hope you enjoy you stay.
regards
Hamish
