West Cumbria BSAC chairman Charles Potter, along with Paul Renucci, Webmaster for Freshwaterdiver.com, this past few weeks have been named by the Press, both in the UK and europe. We both gave local Border TV an interview regarding diving safety concerns in the English Lake District after revelations about the Gnomes in Wastwater.
Although the deaths mentioned were from several years past, it is a timely reminder as lake temperatures bottom out to their lowest point, that cold water diving procedures must be adhered to and that deep diving in the lake district is ill advised at this time.
