I'm considering recommending a colleague for honour/award for his actions during the Tsunami in Thailand & would appreciate some guideance as to what organisations to approach. This Man has no idea of my intentions but his help to the dead & dying cannot go unnoticed-any ideas?

The first one that comes to mind is the Royal Humane Society

I hope you'll tell more about his efforts when you can.

Thanks Andy (& everyone else that answered). The Humane society were already on my list & i'm pleased to say others share my views and have taken the hint re this guys efforts. I can't possibly post a graphic account (or give name/exact location)on this forum, but will draft something for 'Ollie' in due course.....
(I can say he's central european and has assisted every nationality effected in Thailand; he's currently engaged in DNA affairs & is an all round good egg!)
