Duke Of Edinburgh's Award

Hi all,

I've been diving for just over a year. Qualified as Ocean Diver and have done 18 "fun dives" around the UK. I've nearly finished my Sports Diver training and would like to know whether anyone knows if this would count towards the SKILL section of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award? I've searched their website and even emailed their people with very little help.
