Our members and our contributers owe Vic a /HUGE/ "thank you" for this. I would like to put on public record my thanks for his efforts over the weekend.

Luckily, for me, I've been away from the Web since last Wed pm, so have obviously missed the downtime, which means that I haven't got a huge backlog to download, from this Forum at least. But I would like to second Keith's VoT to Vic, an unsung backroom hero. If Vic had to be involved it was serious, and knowing how he usually works, I would guess that he didn't actually get a right lot of sleep over the last few days.

So thanks again Vic, and I think a second thanks to Keith for all that he does; and referring to the BSAC WebSite Thread on the Club Matters Forum - don't want to post twice!! - I know Keith always accepts the brickbats for any problems in BSAC IT World, while rarely receiving any bouquets, but at least he does keep us in the picture, which is more than can be said for many other impossible to communicate with commercial sites.

Thanks again guys.

You also need to thank Mike B, our webmaster. Mike was on the case very quickly, sorted out our suppliers and began the massive task of reloading things as soon as we had our server back.

It was a team effort as usual, we all chipped in, see my other post for a more detailed explanation!
