Awww... that's not a nice thing to do to you Helen! Tell you what, tell one of the Sys Admins the user ID of hubby and we'll take revenge for you :D

Only the person who registered you (and knows your password) can alter it!

You'll just have to be VERY nice to whoever might have your password!

(and remember the info I could pass to the board about what birthday it is tomorrow!)

Lots of Love

FORMAL SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS WARNING

That's not nice you know John! You have until midday to hand over Helens password to her, show her how to use the system and kiss and make up. Unless the Sys Admins see Helen posting happily in control of her own account by then -

Your Avatar will be changed and locked to something gross (even worse than your picture!)
Your User Title will be changed (and locked) to one of Helen's choosing.
Your Signature will be changed (and locked) to one of Helen's choosing.
Your reputation (blobs - far right) will be changed to put you in the dog house.(email me Helen, YOU choose what John's account should say!) Such is the wrath of a Sys Admin who knows just what it's like to upset the wife :)

Oh dear, there's a few of us knocking around on here who can alter things you don't even know about yet  (and some things we don't even know about yet  ).

You'll just have to be VERY nice to whoever might have your password!

And you'd better be EXTRA nice to us, John. Or else ... :D

See above :D I've met Helen, we'll take revenge for her unless hubby toes-the-line.

Gentlemen!

My husband is the most wonderful man in the world!
I love him dearly and wont have threats made against him!

Tristan - what do you mean "even more gross". He is a God amongst men and quite the most gorgeous creature on the planet!

As you can see - I now have full control of my account!

Lots of love

Mrs Helen Williams

I smell a rat. I believe "under duress" may be the legal term I'm searching for :D .

Over to you Keith. Do your best/worst :p . He was warned.

He's got until midday. I know John and Helen, Helen has my email address, the only issue the Sys Admins have to sort out is how long we put John on pennance for? I think we should take Helen's advice on that :)

OK...time to fess up!

Helen did ask me to register her and to test her logon for her.

She is in meetings all day today ...so I'll miss Keith's deadline!
(but I did tell her all her own logon details yesterday - and her password is her usual one for BSAC use! - and :( she knows my password too!

The avatar is the same one she chose for the Yorkshire Regional site - so it must be OK!

I've changed her signature for a more "suitable" one.

I promise to be good from now on...am I forgiven?

John:p

Sorry John - forgiveness from the wife is beyond the mortal powers of everybody, the Sys Admins can't help you with that one as it's YOUR problem!

Under the circumstances we will extend the deadline until this evening, but I will leave it to a far higher power than me to decide whether your have been remorseful enough and suitably appologetic. I will await Helen's instruction as to what the next steps will be.

What fun!

I'll just be "me" from now on! (the dress did not fit anyway!)

Thanks for breaking up an otherwise dull morning fellas!

She says I've got to repair all the girls pink frilly dancing outfits this afternoon!

Sewing pink frilly stuff - a man of my masculinity!

Then I've got to go to dancing class with them and JOIN IN! (fortunatley there will not be enough time to knock up pink frillies for me!)

I knew she was hard..but never realised that she was quite that hard!

John
:(

I have sent her all her logon details again :o

Dear SysAdmin bods,

If I leave my title like this for a while...do you think you could ask her to let me off the pink frilly stuff?

John

Keith Lawrence

Hmmmm... OK, we'll leave your title and signature alone. But as per your other post we require digital photographic evidence from Helen of you actually carrying out your tasks of pennance. These we will hold in reserve for possible posting to our forthcomming Gallery section (Meet The Coaches?) and consider using one for your Avatar should you give the Sys Admins any more grief.

I hope you've learnt your lesson John, do NOT upset the wife and do NOT upset a Sys Admin. We find that in these type of circumsances when reasonable requests don't get the desired results then simple blackmail can be far more effective :D

I think we've got a wild one here!

Has he got any friends? :D

They'll be right at home.

Just waiting for Finless to appear now and the set will be complete.

Welcome to what is becoming the madhouse, John. I'm glad I'm 8 hours away - I don't think I could cope with you on the same time zone :)

Cheers,
Tristan

Tristan - what do you mean "even more gross". He is a God amongst men and quite the most gorgeous creature on the planet!

John, you've got to keep a better track of who's posting what when you are logging in under multiple usernames!

Your Avatar will be changed and locked to something gross (even worse than your picture!)
It wasn't me/I didn't see anything/it was already broken when I got here/you can't prove a thing :p

Please try and keep up.

Cheers,
Tristan

Sorry Tristan!

Things were moving thick and fast and I attributed Keith's comment to you!

(Still...take that as a sort of backhanded compliment???)

All the best

....Mrs John now has her revenge!

She deleted the e-mail from Hilary (Our Yorkshire Leader) and now won't tell me the password for the Coaching & ITS forum!

It gets worse...I'm told that you need the password to return to the buffet carvery at ITS events

I'm going to waste away!

Paul

Paul,

Unfortunately I shall be at work!
Helen does have the recipe for bacon butties ...but you'll have to remind the TIE candidates about managing distractions if you let her cook (the smoke alarm gets very persistent!)

If you read this thread from the beginning - you'll know that you have to be VERY careful who you threaten and who you bribe...they usually end up getting you to do something for them under the duress of "We can change your pic to something even more horrible" (I know it can be done ...look at what the other SysAdmins did to Keith's avatar - now that IS scary!)
