Hi all
As some of you are already aware, I've decided the day has come to hang up my fins and move on to pastures new. No I'm not going to start eating grass. For various reasons the time has come to retire from all diving activities.
Some of you maybe cheering with joy, that's your perogative, but I've already had lots of emails, texts etc with some very nice thoughts and best wishes, and I thank those of you who have responded.
Some of you will know me from being on the Yorkshire Regional Coaching team as one of the Skill Development Course instructors, rescue skills, particularly first aid was my speciality. Then I became an Area Coach looking after branches in NE Lincs and East Yorkshire. I also had a spell as Yorkshire Regional Coach. I was also a very active member of the Instructor Training Scheme teaching on IFC's etc.
Because of the retirement, ALL my diving kit is up for sale, I've posted the link at the bottom of this thread. There is a list on the site, if someone would like to purchase anything from it please contact me direct, I will then put the item up on eBay with a buy it now at the agreed price along with p+p details. This way we both stay protected under eBay rules / policies etc. The listing is now live so please have a look, I'll try to keep it as up to date as I can, I'll mark off what is still available and what has been sold.
All my kit is in very good condition, it has always been looked after properly, washed, serviced etc.
My BSAC membership will lapse in May, so I'm still available to do 'dry' courses if anyone wants to get hold of me until then.
I'd like to thank the many divers I have met, dived with and taught over the years, not just from Yorkshire but from all over the country, I've had a great time and enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you all very much.
May all your bubbles be silent ones.....
Yours in diving
