Some of you may have spotted the appearance of a new IT forum over the weekend. The forum became visible due to a mistake on my part. We are currently in the process of an operational hand over and clearly I misunderstood how the forum permissions are applied. I am none the less embarrassed by the situation.

The new forum is intended for internal use to discuss speculative 'blue sky' projects for BSAC's use of IT. Membership of the group is currently restricted to those BSAC members that have demonstrated both an IT related expertise and a commitment to volunteering their time towards BSAC's IT operations.

I would like to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Since I started to read it and got bored, I suspect I demonstrated I don't have the relevant IT expertise :D
