Just a quick note to thank all divers who have taken the time to support BSAC's stance vis-a-vis entering war graves.
Having now spoken, at much length, to to the diver identified by Andrew Georgitis as purpotedly entering Repulse, I am fully convinced that this person would never have acted in such a way. In my view AG is not telling the truth for reasons best known to himself.
More importantly, however, I'm heartened by the general sea-change within the British diving fraternity, regarding dives on, what are now designated war graves. This is a world apart from circa 2000-1.
The only fly in the ointment, in my view anyhow, remains the actions of AG and his colleagues. On reflection perhaps it's best we just ignore them and continue to build bridges betweeen survivors groups and divers. None the less if AG is planning a visit to any dive exhibitions within the UK in the near future I would be interested to learn of this. Please contact me through www.forcez-survivors.org.uk
