Dear All
Sorry to return (though on a differnt vein) to issues surrounding the recent intrusion into Repulse.
A Yorkshire Divers site forum (as some of you know) depicts a statement from the leader of the aforesaid dive. Within this he states, categorically, that a leading BSAC instructor (and other unidentified British divers) dived on, and entered into Repulse, whilst his team were over the site.
I have just been contacted by a journalist on this matter. He states (and I have no-reason to doubt his word) that he contacted BSAC HQ today to gain thier views on this subject and the possibility that one of their leading divers could have violated PMRA. I am informed that their response was to state that as Repulse lies in international waters they declined to offer any comments.
While accepting that this information is based on third party disclosures, I believe that BSAC should, in an official capacity, address this issue, because it doesn't look like it is going to go away.
