Hi folks,

Now's your time to try and sell your club to me. I've recently moved to the Guildford area and would like to find a rebreather (Inspiration) friendly club. I'm not necessarily into deep, dark teckie diving (yet) but I do enjoy the benefits diving with the rebreather gives me (extended bottom times, reduced deco etc.). I know that there are a few clubs in the area and I'd be interested to hear if you have like minded divers in your branch and what you have to offer.

BTW - I'm also an OWI who can be coerced/bribed into doing some training!!

Regards,
John..

Hi John,
We at King Charles(Surbiton) would be pleased to welcome you. We only have one rebreather diver with us at present (also an Inspiration diver), but we are certainly friendly, and there are a number of us interested in going that way if only we can find the money.

We meet at the Foley Arms in Claygate, Thursday evenings (approc 9:15pm) to discuss club matters, and generally have a chinwag. Please come and meet us.

Email me or visit our website www.smartgroups.com/groups/kcsc, if you would like more info.

RAF Odiham may seen a long way but that's where I went when living in Godalming/Aldershot. I've no idea as to their current activities but I suggest you give it a try."Civvies" form the majority of their membership and are welcome. I can't remember what evening they met, I think it was tues or weds around 8pm.

(take hogs back from Guildford to blackwater relief rd, then join the M3 towards Basingstoke)

Another option is Whitehill SAC @Bordon (take the A325 past 'birdworld' from Farnham)

I know of at least one guy (Chris Clayton) in our (university of surrey) club. We are based in Guildford and Chris is just a short hop away in the Hogs Back area. During term we have regular Thursday night pool training sessions in the Spectrum Leisure Centre and we do quite a lot of "proper diving" during the summer in addition to a week up in Oban around easter time (this year at a bargain price of ?200), a trip for which we have struggled on the instructor front in the past (hint hint).

Take a look at Mole Valley Sub Aqua Club. We are friendly club based in Leatherhead. We have several members in Guildford (including myself).

We have a couple of Inspiration divers already.
