So my details can't be given out because of the data protection act my details are private so if someone from the SAA ask BSAC HQ if I am a member or not and what club grade ect i am they can't be told.

That is correct I believe, we cannot disclose details of our members under our DPA registration.

Just out of curiosity, what would the SAA do if they did find out you're leaving? I'm sure loads of people must do that all the time, wouldn't worry about sneaking around getting secret qualifications - only makes it extra hassle.
