Hi Buddy's
I have just purchased a used D6, had a new battery fitted and now have started playing with it so I can to learn how to use it, not diving until mid Feb so just at home till then.
I have got it stuck in ean dive mode and no matter what I press I cannot come out of it, it is as if it waiting for me to start a dive, I feel that if I did it would start working. I find it hard to believe that such an expensive bit of kit doesn't let you come back out of a screen.
Please any advice would be much appreciated...

Hi Pete,

Not sure if you have the manual but it is available on the sunnto site:

http://ns.suunto.com/Manuals/D6/Userguides/Suunto_D6_users_guide_EN.pdf

It may be that you are trying to set say mix two at a leaner mix than one?

Which I dont believe sunnto computers allow, so it may be waiting for you to correct the mix?

I don't have the D6 but have the Vytec DS and this is how I have to set up the mixes on mine.

regards

Hamish

If it's been pressure tested or you've been diving and it's still has "no fly" time on it, you can't come out of Nitrox mode into Air.

It not, press the top right button to get the dive mode up, whilst the initial dive screen is displayed, then press either the bottom left or right to scroll across dive modes.
