Hi All
My trusty old UK800 torch sprung a leak at 35m yesterday (at least that's when I noticed it) and is therefore very dead. I need to consider a new one, and would welcome all comments good or bad with regard to your experience before I take the plunge.
Cheers
Pete

I'm a fan of the UK Light Cannon 100

There's a review at this URL

Pete, Underwater Kinetics is a great company to deal with and their gear is lifetime warranted. I realize that while you will be without a torch for awhile, if you mail the old one to them they will likely make everything right for you. (Perhaps in the interest of saving you freight they won't have you to mail the battery pack?) I too have two aging UK800R's and they're great lights. Try contacting them online and see what they say. Good luck!

What I always advise in such a case is flush out in fresh water and leave to dry. Then try with a new battery and you might be suprised. I have had this happen to a lot of friends and this often works, but not always. Certainly in worked 2 weeks ago with a friends strobe.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained!!
The secret is flushing with fresh water quickly.
To avoid flooding in the first place ALWAYS lubricate the seals with silicone grease. Never had a flood myself as I always do this.

You have not put down a budget.

Personally I really like the Green Force Lighting systems.
I use an LED head for murky conditions and an HID head for deeper dives when I want lots of light.

Having said that we are talking hundreds of ????'s
