Anyone interested in diving at the Farnes with the sole purpose of diving with seals there please contact me <a href="mailto:bburville@hotmail.com">bburville@hotmail.com</a>
If there's enough interest we can book out a local hard boat and spend a weekend getting as close as possible to these beautiful creatures.
All divers will be responsible for their own dive safety and planning. Clubs would be welcome.
I am looking to simply share my experience of diving with these creatures up close with similarly minded individuals.
The diving is typically very shallow (>10m!). Divers are best in pairs. Expect to spend quite extended periods static in the water, swimming only short distances and often simply settling in one place for maximum results. This can get you cold so dress appropriately and bring a flask!
There's no guarentee that you'll get really close but the odds are enhanced by locally gained knowledge.
NOBODY gets closer to the seals on a regular basis.
