View Full Version : 3day liveaboard from Khao Lak
Hi, my brother and myself are going to Phuket at the end of March and will be looking at doing a 3 day safari from khao lak to koh bon, Richelieu Rock etc.
I have dived with Seabees before in phuket but they do seem rather pricey now that the euro has collapsed. Does anyone have any experiences/ recommendations of who else to use, for the trip and even a days diving to similians.
your help appreciated

I have been berated elsewhere for putting up answers that may not fit into what was requested :D but I feel this report about short liveaboard trips from Phuket may give you some sort of a guide:

Not just since the Euro collapsed, they have been more expensive ever since they started here.
For a short trip, check out one of these options: Oktavia (http://www.thailand-scuba.com/sim_A9.htm), South Siam (http://www.thailand-scuba.com/sim_B8.htm) or Marmin (http://www.thailand-scuba.com/sim_D6.htm). There are a few more options if you don't want to go to Richelieu Rock but do Similans only.
many thanks, will have a good look at them, have actually used south siam for a day trip out of phuket, and found them friendly and helpful.
