Hi There!
Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good dvd/video-covering some, if not all of the wreck dives in Scapa?
Cheers!

Paul,
I was involved with a company which put out thje video Dive Scapa Flow about 10 years ago. The video is still for sale and I'm sure you could get it through Diver's website, www.divernet.co.uk.
You could do a search on the internet for it. Alternatively, if you still can't trace it call my local dive shop Aberdeen Watersports on 01224 581313 and ask for the boss, Jason. The video was being marketed by a local TV co. here in Aberdeen and Jason has been selling them over the years so he will be able to source it for you.
Be aware tho' that the video is 10 years old and one of the main wrecks featured, the tanker Inverlane, which used to stick well out of the water and be particularly photogenic was dispersed by storms in 1996 so the video is out of date in thatr regard. It is however, still the only video on diving up there.
Any problems, let me know.
Regards
Rod

Ah ha !!!
Somebody seeking the same as me, well I can part with the following knowledge
Rod Mcdonald Who wrote the dive scapa flow book was involved in with a production comany about 10 years ago and they did make a video
Will try and find the email that he sent me, but I am sure he said that it is available from the aberdeen dive centre and you need to speak to the manager there Jason...
Good luck
and look out for my next post where hopefully I will attach the email..
